All you need to know about our service

   Q1: What services do you provide?

A: Our service allows you to buy mobile airtime, This service is available for calling Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland.

To use our service, you need to register for an account - it takes few minutes. Once you are logged in, it takes less than 3 minutes to complete a transaction and for your Kukunda number to be recharged to make cheap international calls.

Q2: How much does this service cost?

A: We charge a flat rate (handling fee) for each prepayment you make regardless of the amount of your top-up payment or airtime amount.

Q3: Do you accept debit and credit cards?

A: We accept all major credit cards issued anywhere in the world including Visa, MasterCard and Discover Network. All payments are processed through PayPal. Payments done using bank cards issued outside the USA may incur a foreign currency exchange charge or fee (a few cents or pennies).

Kukunda.com is not responsible for this charge. Please consult your bank to learn more or for more information on exact currency conversion fees and rates that apply to you.

Q4: Why do you require my address and ID details when registering?

A: This is a requirement by the Telecommunications Regulator (Potraz) when registering a new mobile number.

Q5. What is a 403 forbidden error?

A: 403 forbidden is an error that comes out when you use a wrong Kukunda number and password combination.

To troubleshoot check the following:

  1. Is your username correct? Your username on the app should be your full Kukunda Number e.g. +2638644922222. Make sure you include the ‘+263′ part and no extra spaces before and after the number.
  2. Enter a correct password: Check your email for your Kukunda Password. Alternatively you can change your password on the Customer Portal and set it accordingly on the app.
  3. Authentication username/ Authentication user: If you are using Zoiper on the settings you must ensure your Authentication username is set. It is in the format “+2638644922222@africom.com”, no space before or after the number.

Q6: Can I top up any amount?

A: Yes, up to $100, however it is cost effective to top up a big amount.

Q7: Can anyone call me on my Kukunda number?

A: Yes, anyone can call you on your Kukunda number (+2638644*****), please make sure your phone is connected to WIFI, 3G or 4G.

Q8: What if I have questions about my account or my order, how do I contact customer service?

 

A: Our customer service representatives are available to answer any questions or queries you may have regarding your order. Please email us at contact@kukunda.com. One of our representatives will promptly respond to your email.
